Refund and Cancellation Policy

The short version

• Changed your mind? Ask within 14 days of any payment and we’ll refund it in full. No questions asked.
• Cancel any time in two clicks. Plus stays on until the end of the period you already paid for.
• The Free plan is free. There’s nothing to cancel or refund, and your data stays yours.
• Payments and refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, back to your original payment method.

14-day money-back guarantee

Every ModStudent Plus payment comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. This covers your first payment, renewals, monthly and yearly plans, and the founding member price. If you ask within 14 days of being charged, we refund that payment in full. You don’t need to give a reason.

• How to ask: email support@modstudent.com from the address on your account, or reply to your payment receipt.
• When the money arrives: we approve refunds within 2 business days. Your bank usually shows the money back in 5 to 10 business days.
• What happens to Plus: a refunded subscription is canceled, and your account moves to the Free plan. Your courses, grades, and other data stay saved.

After 14 days, payments aren’t refundable. We don’t give partial refunds for unused time, except where the law requires it. If something went wrong, like a double charge or a charge after you canceled, email us any time and we’ll make it right.

Canceling

You can cancel any time from Settings → Plan and billing → Manage billing. Canceling stops all future payments. Plus keeps working until the end of the month or year you paid for, then your account moves to Free.

Deleting your ModStudent account also cancels your subscription first, so you’re never charged for an account that no longer exists.

Renewals and reminders

• Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel.
• Founding members pay the founding price for the first year. It then renews as Plus yearly at the regular price, and we email you 14 days before it renews.
• If we ever change the price, we’ll email you before it applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first.

Who processes payments

Lemon Squeezy sells ModStudent Plus on our behalf as the merchant of record. They take payments, add any sales tax, send receipts, and issue refunds. ModStudent never sees or stores your card number. Your receipt and invoices are available from Manage billing.
